The Reason We Do Wat We Do

This letter was received by Outreach Director Ken Tork after a recent presentation.

Dear Mr. Tork,

My family and I want to thank you for your presentation last Saturday.  Most of all we really  appreciate bringing this out to oldest son Kendrick.  We had as a family a very powerful conversation afterwards regarding the topic & just  another one of the fears & obstacles that confront our children today.  As you stated we can't duct tape our children to a chair but we can educate them & do our best to teach them the tools they need to confront life's many challenges.  The topic allowed us to talk as a family and address te good & bad that life has to offer.

My wife & I were also very moved by your & your family' strength to move past or move with such a calamity.  We were really inspired by the positive outlook on how your family is healing.  I don't have words on those emotions since it is really unbearable to think about it.  But.... Thank you again.

Regards,

Elliott Allen
